Kids Rock

Partnering with families to reach children and guide them into an active faith in Jesus. At The Rock Church we want your children to know God intimately, to be disciples of Jesus and disciple others, as well as serve Him faithfully. All of our teachers and volunteers are trained and background-checked, and there is always someone on-site who is CPR and First Aid certified.

We have four classes for children:

  • Children (0 - 4 years)

  • K & 1st Grade

  • 2nd & 3rd Grade

  • 4th & 5th Grade

Each of our classes allow time for free play, a Bible lesson, music, craft/activity, and snack. Classes for older kids also incorporate a memory verse and games. Kids Rock is offered during the 11am service.

Student Ministry

At The Rock Church we want to build up the next generation to think, love, and live like Jesus. We support our students on their journey to becoming lifelong disciples who make disciples through the study of God's Word, finding togetherness with other students, and growing their spiritual maturity.

Bible studies are offered Sundays at the 11am service to focus on real life situations our students face. All volunteers are trained and background checked. The Rock Church Student Ministry is open to all students in 6th to 12th grade.

Men’s Ministry

We believe that iron sharpens iron and our Men’s Ministry is built for connection and fellowship with Christ as the foundation. It was never God’s heart for us to do this life alone. Men’s Ministry is a place where discipleship happens naturally and men thrive spiritually, emotionally, and physically. We are in pursuit of wholeness, purpose, and brotherhood.

Our men meet monthly for fellowship and Bible study. The first Saturday of each month the men gather for breakfast and a time to be discipled. Feel free to join us and invite a friend too! See our upcoming events for more information.

Women’s Ministry

Discipling Women to Disciple Women

At The Rock Church, our Women's Ministry mission is to come alongside women in this fast-paced, stressful world and invite them to sit at the feet of Jesus. We call women to come away with us and be His disciples as we disciple each other.

Our gatherings take place on the last Saturday of every month at 9am, where we come together for Coffee, Crepes, and Chat. These regular meet-ups serve as a foundation for the bonds we create. In addition to these monthly gatherings, we curate ongoing and special events that are specifically designed to draw us nearer to Jesus and strengthen our connections with one another. See our upcoming events for more information.

Worship Team

Worship is not confined to a specific time or day; it permeates our entire lives. At The Rock Church, we wholeheartedly believe in embracing worship as a lifestyle. Our ultimate goal is to become unreserved worshippers who continuously offer our hearts and lives to God, not just on Sunday mornings but every single day.

The Lord, in His wisdom, designed worship to be an integral part of our existence. It is through worship that we find our truest selves, standing before Him as accepted and cherished individuals. As we minister to Him in thanksgiving and praise, we discover the depth of His love and experience His transformative power in our lives. Together, as a community of believers, let us strive to be unreserved in our worship, dedicating ourselves to glorifying and ministering unto Him each and every day.

Praying hands at spiritual Sahuarita church intercession

Intercession

Intercession is embracing what God desires and putting it into action by calling out to the Lord. Hebrews 5:7 says that Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear. Oswald Chamber wrote, "Prayer is the vital breath of the Christian; not the thing that makes him alive, but the evidence he is alive." Intercession is necessary and we believe it is a major part of discipleship.

Join Us for Intercession:

  • Sundays: 8 - 8:45am | The Rock Ranch

  • Tuesdays: 9:30 - 10:30am | The Sanctuary
